1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the FocusAI Coach application or website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

FocusAI Coach is a productivity app that provides AI coaching, focus timers, spaced-repetition flashcards, habit tracking and related tools. Features available depend on your platform (iOS, Android, web) and subscription tier.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction are encouraged to register with parental awareness. We may verify age at any time and suspend accounts that violate this rule.

4. Account responsibilities

Provide accurate registration information.
Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for account activity.
Do not share accounts or transfer them without our written consent.
Notify us of any unauthorized access promptly.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, scrape or bulk-collect the Service
Use the Service to harass, defame or harm others
Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or malicious
Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication or billing
Use the Service for activities prohibited by applicable law

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination. We may cooperate with lawful authorities when required.

6. Subscriptions & payments

Some features are free. Premium features are sold as subscriptions through:

Apple App Store (iOS users) — billed by Apple under their terms.
Google Play Store (Android users) — billed by Google.
iyzico (Turkish customers only, web) — billed per Turkish consumer protection law.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Cancel at any time through your platform's subscription settings. Refunds follow each platform's policy (App Store, Google Play, or for iyzico, Turkish consumer law).

7. Intellectual property

FocusAI Coach, the brand name, logos, and all Service content are our property or licensed to us. You retain ownership of content you upload (notes, photos). By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, display and process your content for the purpose of operating the Service — including sending limited context to AI providers for coaching features.

8. AI-generated content disclaimer

FocusAI Coach uses third-party AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic). AI responses are informational, not professional advice. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Always verify AI-provided facts.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost productivity, missed exams, or reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold FocusAI Coach harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time via the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Deleted account data is removed per the Privacy Policy retention rules.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes are announced in-app. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

13. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights available under your local law.

Consumers in the EU / UK may use the ODR platform for online dispute resolution.
